I almost hate to divulge this secret, but I’ve been to the alternative neighborhood salons and, IMO, they really don’t compare; Today’s Nails tops my list. Breaking Neighborhood News (BNN)

I am of the belief that Franco bit off more than he could chew trying to have the only location serving as both a pizzeria and upscale opera cafe. As soon as he started putting more energy into the trattoria side of the business, the pizzeria suffered …

I thought maybe I was just being insecure, the staff couldn’t possibly be judging me as harshly as I judge myself … or could they?

Gearing up for this year’s farmer’s market season, I wanted to see what we could expect to see at the stand (Fountain at Passyunk & Tasker) in the first couple of weeks. Click here for a great resource provided by Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC).

Minnie’s Secret
1507 E. Passyunk Ave.
****
The best word I can come up with to describe this shop is holistic. Tucked in to a somehow-quiet spot behind the new Sweat gym & juice, Minnie’s Secret offers a range of services and products from massage therapy and body waxing to essential oils and herbal extracts.
