To All The Boots I’ve Worn This Year
Monday, I told you a little more about me. So, today, I’m telling you a little more about my personal sense of style. You may have seen my tweets alluding to the fact that I have a boot problem, namely that I can’t stop buying them. It probably has something to do with fact that I’ve always liked my legs and boots are great highlighting them. They just feel flirty and sexy, without really revealing anything.
While I would have bought hundreds of boots this season if I could have, this is an ode to the ones that got me to throw down this winter.

I love a high boot. This is the Sanctum boot by EttieneAigner, which I ended up getting in an oxblood color they call vino. The kitten heel is super cute.
I am really into grey this season and this pair called to me from across the store. They aren’t exactly appropriate for stomping around town, but they’re cute and flirty and get compliments whenever I wear them.
These are so Puss-in-Boots to me. Hot Kiss calls this the Maryssa boot. The strappy and slouchy thing are both in right now.
My fiance was thrilled when I finally came home with a pair of flat boots … he was not thrilled that they were suede and thus, not very practical. But, I got them for a steal. The color was kind of different for me, but they just felt right.
Of course, you know the hunter style boot is very in this year and these were mine. They're Aerosoles' Sarasota boots and they are fan-freakin-tastic.
This next pair got me in trouble as I had kind of promised my sweetie I wouldn’t buy any more boots for a while, which I haven’t since, but this last pair I just couldn’t resist.
The Blowfish Hamish boot has really become my go-to footwear for the season. They kind of look like spats over shoes. The lavendar lining peaks out from under the ruffle in a flirty kind of way.
I know you think I’m crazy for buying yet another grey boot when I didn’t get anything in brown but that’s because my trusty shirpa boots are brown and I still have these in my arsenal from a couple of years ago.
I picked up these faux-suede boots at a killer Kohls sale a couple of years ago. You can't really see, but they have a black, spiky heel and make my legs look super long. And, yes, those are my legs. *Photo courtesy Philly Chit Chat (www.phillychitchat.com).
So, what happened to the black boots I originally went in search of? I still haven’t found the perfect pair and with the season quickly passing us by, I have to face the fact that it might not happen this year. But, you know what? That’s ok because it gives me a great excuse to go shopping next year.

Where did you get your Hot Kiss Maryssa boots from? I love them but unfortunately they didn’t have the size that I want it in from the store.
SPF: Ugh, that is disappointing. I got them, as they say, at Famous, but it was a couple of months ago. I think the website had some on clearance last time I checked. It’s worth a try.
