No Comprende

So, Wedding Wednesday is here again and I have some trepidations about where we are right now. If you’ve been following along, you know that we’ve booked our wedding at a resort in Tulum, Mexico. Once we signed the contract and authorized the deposit, my travel agent assured me the resort’s wedding coordinator would be responsible for working out the rehearsal, ceremony and reception details. This was a little over a month ago. While the coordinator has been great at getting back to my TA, she has not answered one of the 5 emails I have sent her. (I have refrained from calling thus far as phone calls to Mexico are a bit pricey.)

We will soon be six motnhs from our wedding day and not having any communication from the coordinator is makign me really nervous. I am holding off making other decisions until I hear from her and now am wondering when that might happen. Through an alternate source, I was able referred to contact the coordinator’s supervisor directly. However, I don’t want to be a bridezilla and I don’t want to create any hostility towards our party before we even get there. At the same time, I do want to be taken seriously and wouldn’t be terribly upset if they were extra eager to please for more discerning guests.

I know my father would say you catch more flies with honey than vinegar, but he’d also say the squeaky wheel gets the grease. It seems to me a fine line. Thoughts?

Befuddled,

SPF

SPF: Be careful what you wish for. All this, “It’s your day,” stuff can easily go to a girl’s head. ;)
