Yellow is Not My Color

Ok, so I finally got some answers from our previously absentee wedding coordinator. (For those of you who are keeping score, I had to go Bridezilla on her ass.) However, for the moment, that wedding worry is under control. Of course, I have a whole new dilemma to present to you for this week’s Wedding Wednesday.

I may have mentioned in a previous post that I sweat … a lot. No, it’s not traditionally feminine, but it’s true. I sweat so much, in fact, that one of my yoga teachers has dubbed me her “sweat barrometer” for the class. Meaning that she judges how to proceed with the class based on my rate of perspiration. And it’s catching on among the instructors. Honestly, it doesn’t bother me too much in that setting. It means I’m workin’ it and there’s nothing wrong with getting the most of your yoga practice.

On my wedding day is another story. I don’t plan on wearing a big, poofy princess gown in the Mexican sun, but alas, the flowy, lightweight, Grecian-style gowns make it look like a shot-gun ceremony. This means that something more fitted will be in order and while, I think I’ll be able to pull it off, I am worried about sweating out on my big day. After all, who wants to spend a grand on a dress only to soil it with pit stains?

So, I am asking you, dear readers, for your antipersperant advice! I feel like I’ve tried everything under the sun, but I figure I have an entire summer to test alternatives before I ask my doctor for the prescriptive option. I’ve already tried the regular and clinical strength versions of Degree, Dove, Lady Speedstick, Secret, Suave, Crystal Rock and LaVanilla. I even recently bought a water-proof formula clinical-strength Secret, but to no avail. What’s your surefire, underarm drier? SPF needs your help!
