I’ll admit it, like any red-blooded American girl, I’m obsessed with my weight. Good genes and relatively good eating habits have been good to me and I’d never have described myself as “fat,” (though we ALL have fat days). But still, there have been times in my life when I’m not thrilled with my body. It was all well and good when I was prepping for the wedding, limiting my fat intake to next to nothing and going to yoga 6 times a week, but since I’ve been back to work, things have gone a little downhill. There are so many fabulous places to eat lunch in center city Philadelphia and I’ve been taking full advantage, which has left my figure more apple-shaped than I’d like.
While picking up some vitamins at GNC a few weeks ago, I came across a pre-wedding regimen product I’d forgotten about: BIORythm’s Olio. The stuff is ahhh-mazing. You pop one of these little pills before meals three times a day and it blocks your body from absorbing some of the fat in the food. It’s also uber-healthy, containing a blend of extra virgin olive oil, CLA (conjugated linoleic acid), Omega-3, -6 and -9 fatty acids. It supports healthy cholesterol, immune function, and cardiovascular function.
As far as I’m concerned, anything that allows me to eat cheese and not look like I do is a miracle.
