Flower Show Fun

Spring is clearly on the horizon here in Philadelphia with the imminent opening of the Philadelphia International Flower Show! This year’s festivities will feature several theme nights, geared towards getting you and your friends together for one of the city’s hottest annual tickets.

First up, Wedding Wednesday, an event designed for brides-to-be, mothers of the bride and members of the bridal party offering exclusive access to a VIP area showcasing the region’s most sought after wedding vendors and a chance to meet with Philadelphia Wedding editor Carrie Denny. More than 20 vendors will be on hand to show you the latest trends in fashion, makeup, catering and more while guests champagne, appetizers and wedding cake samples. Attendees will also receive a gift bag filled with tons of goodies and a chance to win a bouquet from Flowers by David valued at $200.

Participants include Bernard’s Salon & Spa, Eatible Delights Catering, Lucien’s Manor, Nicole Miller, Registry 10, Shutterbooth, Unveiled Philadelphia, Velvet Sky Bakery and many more. Up to 250 tickets are available for the March 7 event at $40 each.

But the fun isn’t limited to brides. On Thursday, March 8, The Pennsylvania Horticultural Society and Philadelphia Style magazine will present the second annual Girls Night Out at the Flower Show. Following the success of last year’s event, the group has doubled the number tickets available. This will allow 500 guests to access a VIP area with exclusive shopping, food and wine tastings, health and beauty offerings, product demos and more. The first 250 gals to purchase tickets will bring home gift bags from premiere vendors including Malibu Rum, 611 Lifestyle, Chima, Pileggi Boutique and the Sporting Club at the Bellevue among others. Tickets for Girls Night are $45 each. Last year’s event sold out in just one day, so don’t delay!

Wedding Wednesday and Girls Night Out will both run from 5:30 to 8:30pm. Tickets include Flower Show Admission and may be purchased at http://www.theflowershow.com/Tickets/VIP.html. They will NOT be sold at the door.
